DESCRIPTION: EPW - Vacheron & Constantin, Genève, Corps of Engineers U.S.A., 51mm, 0.900 silver OF original V&C case with "Property of Corps of Engineers, U.S.A, No. 10747" to rear, signed silver cuvette, white enamel SS dial with hour numerals having luminous material, skeletonized hands with luminous material, SW-SS, lever escapement, 15J, gilt mvt, s#380691. This 15 jewel time-only Vacheron & Constantin Corps of Engineers watch is quite rare with a total production believed to be only approximately 400 made. This information, as well as much more on the class of Corps of Engineers marked pocket watches, can be found in an excellent March 2014 NAWCC Bulletin article by Thomas Koenig.
